To Serve Man is a Cookbook: A Dogs' Dinner is part of a series of works shown at Merge in Vancouver, Canada in 2015.

To Serve Man is a Cookbook: A Dogs' Dinner is comprised of three works:

I Just Want to Get Over You (Skin Painting I) and I Don't Want to Get Over You (Skin Painting II): Playful hides and sugary holes, globs and gnaws, slippery creams and icings, what painting does, melting on the tongue, glazing over, then crunch of skin, crackle and sweet.

What Leaves Us Feeds Us: Communal sharing between mouths, back and forth, the theatre of eating, the language of food, floating and fluid exchange, melting speech, a grasp of spit and voice and love.

A Dogs' Dinner: Meaty display, marrow play, artisanal joy, crafting the bones of it, I could imagine it going down, greasy lips and cheeks then stuck between teeth, a robust BBQ manliness, husk, bark and crust.
